To me, the s10e is the most conventionally sized smartphone, thus I upgraded from an iPhone 7. The display is stunning, especially when high-definition (HD) and high-dynamic range (HDR) video is activated, but unfortunately, some of the image must be cropped when the entire display area is in use. The primary camera works well enough, but I wouldn't call it a mega wow effect, but the extreme wide-angle module is disappointing (a lot fits into the frame, but there will also be a lot of soap). At other times, tiny friezes of animations will appear. Scanner with a side button is inconvenient in many situations. At this point in time, the most frustrating aspect of using a touch screen is the frequent occurrence of false positives; for example, when you reach for something with your thumb, the inside of your palm will inevitably touch the edge of the screen, causing you to accidentally activate features you didn't intend to activate, close the app, etc. Yet, there are other occasions where the sensor stubbornly refuses to act; for instance, fully extending the top curtain may not be possible until the third or fourth attempt. Although I prefer Apple Pay to Samsung Pay, I do wish that the latter included a side toggle switch for silent mode and some of the natural motions seen in IOS. When multiple lines of text are superimposed, some programs become inoperable. In addition, I have no interest in learning how to navigate Android's countless menus and settings. Nonetheless, there are many interesting features, such as picture-in-picture. All in all, the phone is not terrible, especially for people who are not completely unfamiliar with Android. Perhaps in time I'll adjust to it.
