Everyone's ears are different but I've tried several sleep headphones and these are by far the best and most comfortable. When I sleep on my side, the pillow doesn't push them deeper into my ear canal. Other headphones did this and were very uncomfortable. Side. But I'd rather they need a little squeezing than hurt at the back of the ear (eardrum area) from being pushed too deep by the cushion. This doesn't happen. They are very comfortable, with decent sound and at a good price.
