Springs are well priced for recessed lighting

We bought these a few months ago, we are just starting our project and we are disappointed. The description says the springs are sturdy and don't sag. These springs are very cheaply made and will not hold up by themselves. Unfortunately we cannot return them as the return period has expired. For 5/8" drywall, but definitely not 1/2".

Pros

+ This fixture is designed for sloping ceilings with at least 3 inches of clearance. This light is unsealed and has an adjustable head, airflow is free through the light when installed under the attic. Tight ceiling spaces! This pot is made with strong spring clips, this light will not sag when installed in drywall
