Review on Metra 70-1721 Wiring Harness: Perfect Fit for 1998-2013 Acura, Suzuki, and Honda Vehicles by Bryan Cavalcante

I bought this wiring harness to install a replacement car stereo in a friend's 2000 Honda Civic sedan. Metra comes in a plastic bag with the insulating ends of each cable pre-cut so you can immediately remove the lugs and be ready for connection. The wire gauge is pretty good and the internal wiring is copper. There is a chart on the bag showing how color correlation works and it was very clear. The only confusion during the process was the dimming cable, the definition of which didn't seem to match the definition of the dimming function cable on the head unit wiring harness, but I ended up just plugging it in and it worked properly to dim the head units. Display when you turn on the car headlights. Overall this was a quality unit that fitted right into the factory wiring making installation quick and smooth. I wish they included crimp connectors so you can start wiring right away instead of buying the connectors all over again.
