Works better with vertical yarn than horizontal yarn.
I had two splits, one vertical and one horizontal. The set worked surprisingly well on vertical cracks, but I had to reapply on horizontal cracks. Although I followed the instructions exactly and painted my nails well, it took me 3 coats of nail polish to get my nails shiny instead of matte. File is kind of a joke, but I knew it would be one. Oh and one more thing, Sally bought it for less than $7 but I already bought it here.
