Review on Razer Kraken Gaming Headset: Lightweight Aluminum Frame - Retractable Noise Isolating Microphone - For PC by Elang ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

The quality of sound and microphone corresponds to the cost of the headset. Overall, not bad, but not sennheiser either. In general, if they last a couple of years, then it’s quite a suitable headset. Regarding plastic - I saw a couple of reviews that the plastic is bad and breaks. I have been using them for a couple of months so far, once I accidentally sat on them. The plastic held up. Huh, maybe I'm just lucky

Pros
  • Pretty light, after Hyper X so generally airy. The volume control and the on / off microphone button on the headphones are a very useful thing. Unfortunately, not many manufacturers understand this. A long cable allows you to move away from the computer without removing the headset for a couple of meters.
Cons
  • There are no headphone and microphone icons on the jeck connectors. If you are forced to periodically connect the headset to another device, you will have to constantly guess, this is downright annoying. It would seem a very simple thing - draw or somehow designate which input is for micro and which is for headphones. But it looks like Razer designers are busy developing another useless RGB on mouse pads. By the way, the cable itself does not look durable. The fabric braid, as on Razer wired mice, is absent here. So if you have an angry cat who loves to chew on wires, then consider buying something more reliable.

Pros below: sound, microphone, appearance, connectors Cons below: Terrible build quality. For the first time in days, something fell off into the headphones and interferes (noises)
