It was definitely hard to justify the cost of a piece of cat furniture but I think it was worth it. We originally bought to replace a less attractive cat tower that our cat was using to get to his tall window bar. Long story short, the windowsill is gone and my husband had a great idea to put one in front of the window. Now the cat likes that it has a look and I really like that look. Each shelf has a hole for a hanging toy, and we were able to use a spare toy from another tower along with a stealth to hold it in place (although I didn't see him play with it). In addition to the adjustable feet for leveling, it comes with a bracket for wall mounting. We actually used stronger double sided tape in this new location and it feels very sturdy. If you can justify the price, it's worth it.
