UPDATE: Ran again yesterday in what I would call 'high winds'. The wind disturbances from them are terrible! Everything I said in my review still applies, but remember that whatever wind blows, you'll get the strongest wind noise. It gives the impression of walking in a wind tunnel. I save them for the winter and only use them on the treadmill. Get a good pair and your running will improve significantly. Get a bad pair and you'll spend your entire run cursing. For the price paid I didn't expect that they would amaze me, so I was pleasantly surprised. Key features for me and the performance of these headphones: 1) Correct cord length Cord length is good - nice and long 2) Volume control on the line so you're not trying to change the volume through the headband. Big failure. They have a built-in knob, but it doesn't control the volume. Only starts, pauses, skips tracks 3) Stays in ears Fits well and stays in place. Actually surprisingly good. 4) Good sound quality. Pretty bad. But good enough to run (just about). I certainly wouldn't sit around listening to music through them, but what do you expect at such a price point? 5) Proper Seal Level - Some headphones need to fit snugly in the ear canal to ensure a good seal. pressure and worked well 6) Perspiration resistance Determined after a few weeks or months. They seem to hold up well thanks to the rubber design. Two other caveats: 1) As some other reviewers have pointed out, they let through a lot of wind noise. This is annoying in windy weather, but still normal. However, they would be useless on a bike (although I would argue that you shouldn't be using headphones on a bike anyway). 2) The cable is cheap, brittle and thin. This means you get feedback as if the clothes with brushes were touching the cord. It's a shame because I can't imagine a decent cable would add much money. All in all a decent headphone. It probably won't be my "visit" forever, but worth what i paid. I can't imagine a decent cable going up in price that much. All in all decent headphones.
