Firstly as others have said it is more almond colored than white as described. It doesn't match my other wall plate switches. Unlike every other fan switch and dimmer I've ever used or seen: A) - Instead of switching from fast to slow, the switch off turns off when pushed down, but slows down all the way up. . That means if you press "down" it will go from slowest to fastest, faster, faster, and finally turn off. Someone who wants to increase the speed by a knot is actually forcing the fan to go to the next lower speed. Not intuitive. B) - Switch clicks are not "smooth" or easy to select. Anyone using this switch "overshoots" 2 or 3 clicks when turned on and the same when trying to click down. Terrible ergonomics, buy a Lutron or other fan switch.
