My boys wanted these for their bikes but couldn't get them on properly so I had to intervene. I thought they were straw thin but they are actually quite thick material which is good but makes installation difficult. The spokes cross and touch so it wasn't easy to slide between them. I used a flathead screwdriver to open up the gap to start working on the spoke, then wedged it between the spokes to create a gap for gliding.
