This is a great addition to your wardrobe when you are looking to replace your tight denim skirts. It's cut on the bias and has extra panels at the front to really rock it. But it has weight, so that stuff doesn't fly. On me (5ft 8in) it hangs down to mid-calf when I buckle it on. Without a belt, it hangs lower. I ordered my exact size using the manufacturer's size chart, but the skirt is really too big and sits on the hips instead of the waist. I think it's because the material is very elastic, it has a lot of elasticity. I could have easily ordered a size down for a perfect fit with no straps. Thank god the belt loops so I'll leave it, without those loops I would have changed it.
