I'm writing this primarily to offset some of the rave reviews that have been posted by people who obviously haven't seen a really good monitor lately. Don't get me wrong - I'm happy with this purchase. It's just okay. I spent all my money on a new R5 3700x and a Sapphire XT 5700 Pulse and thought it would be a shame not to be able to test their 1440p capabilities, so I was very happy to find this inexpensive monitor. But don't let the exaggeration in some of the other reviews fool you. When you look at this monitor, you won't say "wow". Colors out of the box are not impressive. Maybe there's a way to fix this in clunky settings, but I haven't figured it out yet. It's useful, not great. I wonder if it wouldn't be better just to upgrade to a better 1080p monitor.
