Review on Dowco Iron Rider 50149-00 Motorcycle Luggage Rain Hood: Waterproof, Universal Fit - Black by John Snook

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great price, fantastic quality, reliable performance.

Traveled 2000 miles on a motorcycle. Made my life easier, no problems, no complaints. Tons of space. Each side opens and expands another 2 inches or so. That might not sound like much, but it's easily enough for 2 more days of extra clothing. Metal D-rings and zippers. Zippers of super high quality "hermetic" type. This bag is easy to remove from the bike and go to the motel room. Two two-inch straps with Velcro closures and a variety of adjustments. You won't have any problems with them. The bag has reinforced straps to keep it from wrinkling or losing its shape. Hard floor and back. Using it in the passenger seat gives you a GREAT driver backrest. It also hangs well on the trunk. I personally didn't use the straps that came with it. I added a pair of ROK straps ($20). I highly recommend them. These are flat straps with elastic band. They fit through D-rings and are specifically designed for attaching bags to motorcycles. Size 18" - 60" perfectly fits all D-rings. The only thing I would change about this bag is the shoulder strap. We tend to pack these bags very heavily and the strap could have used a better lining.
