Review on 📏 Naniwa Chosera 000 Grit Sharpening Stone by Paul Gravely

I love chosera stones and I love the base. I'm not impressed with the 5000. I have two Naniwa Chosera 400, 800 and 1000 bricks, a 2000 Naniwa Pro (no base), a Chosera 3000 and this Chosera 5000. Love all the other bricks. This 5000 stone doesn't look much better than the 3000 and feels dirty. It also seems to drink. I don't like feedback. Maybe it needs better disassembly. I've tried Nagura stones but only the cheap synthetic ones you can find on Amazon. I haven't tried soaking. Maybe it will get better with time but I will most likely start using Shapton or another brand soon to see if I like one better.
