All of these attachments fit perfectly and work great. Maybe someone had incomplete orders? Two smaller nozzles use an adapter. Or, if you lose it, you can stick smaller ones in the hose. Just to be clear, my Craftsman has a 1 7/8" hose that fits your standard post. This makes it very pretty as I can use the attachments on any vacuum! Other shop vacuums have 2 1/2" " tubing. You have to know what you have.
