So far it's been a blessing. It has the most powerful fan of any air conditioner I've ever owned, and cool air creates cool air to cool an 800-square-foot outdoor space during the East Texas heat and humidity in late June. Works fast in both Eco mode and Low mode. I keep it on the lowest cold setting, when 62, but it has no issues at all and we don't really have to run it non-stop all day to be comfortable. That's more than my other 12000 BTU Kenmore and much more powerful. The blower seems to blow about twice as hard as the old Kenmore to reach the outside of the room. I've only had him for 10 days now, but he's training and running in a big way. I'll update if anything goes wrong, but so far so good. It was very valuable and it was no more difficult to install than any other air conditioner. I always make thermal insulation sheets with a layer of cardboard, sunscreen for car windows, and garbage bags that are cut and wrapped neatly around the plastic to keep the tin can from losing cool air. It works, but it doesn't look very good, but the flimsy white flaps don't look very good either. Buy with confidence.
