I have tried several similar products over the years but as my ankle problems got worse over time I decided to go back to the doctor. New X-rays confirmed the problem and a specific type of corset was suggested. It was over $300 in medical supplies. A friend advised me to try this instead as it's very similar in design (better IMHO) and of course much cheaper. Wow, works like a charm. I've worn it for hours at sporting events, standing up and also playing pickleball with it and the results are amazing. 90% less pain, no restriction of movement, easy to put on and take off. I was concerned about wearing it with my pumps but that's ok. I even wore it without the high socks they offer and while it wasn't "comfortable" it didn't hurt either and I got used to it. The real challenge for me was walking up and down or working from the stairs. It just killed me for days. It doesn't really matter now. Still some pain but maybe 2-3 vs 8-9 out of ten at 30 minutes.
