Great little inexpensive WIFI wireless product!

Great little wireless WIFI product! Very inexpensive, includes everything you need to program and learn WIFI projects. It takes a little learning to get to know this beautiful WIFI combo circuit and programmer. The good news is that you don't need any additional circuitry to program this device known as the ESP01. Unlike other ESP01 programmers, this one has a small toggle switch on the side, which is very convenient. It has markings on either side of the board that show "PROG" for device firmware and "UART" for normal operation. Like most ESP01 devices based on the onboard ESP8266 WiFi chip, you have many options for coding and programming this device. The easiest and most convenient of these is using an Arduino. Just google "ESP01 Programming Using Arduino" and you will find many websites to help you "HOW" to flash this part. I won't go into the details of using the Arduino. First you need to set the little rocker to the "PROG" position, then plug the programmer and the ESP01 combo board into any available USB port on your PC or Mac, your hardware is ready. currently. After using Arduino IDE to create one of the example programs for ESP8266 like "WiFiScan" and select the COM port for this device, click "Upload". You will see that the device is being programmed if an error occurs during programming either you forgot to set the SW to "PROG" or the COM port is set incorrectly. You can also use the Device Manager on the PC to find the correct COM port number. Be sure to reset the board before running the program normally, which means flipping the toggle switch to UART and then unplugging and plugging back in the device doing the reset. (Each time you change the rocker switch, you must power off the board while plugging/unplugging the device). See how this device scans all the surrounding WiFi stations and displays their SSID on the terminal screen. Great way to program and learn WiFi projects
