THIS IS NOT A TRANSFORMER, IT IS AN AUTOTRANSFORMER = ZERO ISOLATION!

Note: This is only a non-insulating AUTOTRANSFORMER, it is not a real transformer at all pure power 110-120 volts without conduction of the high voltage line and internal safety GF, like a traditional transformer. This item cannot be used to safely convert US 220VAC to 110VAC, POINT. The item description does not warn of this autotransformer wiring. I couldn't believe how dangerous a 2kw direct drive product that could be sold in the US could be. It's not even worth my time to return it and waste Amazon's free shipping on it. As a precaution, but this item should obviously work fine in countries with 220V unbalanced voltage.
