Review on Radenso Radar Detector Visor Mount Accessories & Supplies by Peter Parks

I agree with some others who said it's a bit flimsy or light for the price! I love the visor mount on top of the suction cup and I could only find one or two other visor mounts. One I had to modify to make it work and it still didn't work very well and had to be made for Cobra radar detectors. I have two Cobra XRS 9685 aka 9630 and this is the only visor mount that will fit them. It's not a perfect fit, but if you gently wiggle the strut in the detector, it goes in about 3/4 inch, about where the tab/tab expands. Got it tight enough, holds the detector well and supports it better than the cheap $7.95 (that's what I paid for), now plastic, looks like an alternative to a belt clip. I put mine on and left it on to lighten the load on the mountain. I wish it was a little stronger, but so far it's working well for me and I haven't been able to find anything else that even remotely works with my Cobra. I don't know why finding a good visor mount is so hard.
