There are many reviews of this scraper, many with complaints that make absolutely no sense. First, it's what's known as a long-handled razor blade scraper. Complaints about how little surface area the blade covers are ridiculous. For goodness sake, it's designed to hold a double-edged razor. But if you need to mow 4-inch wide strips of algae off a jar at a time, you can get 4-inch wide scraper blades that fit this little holder pretty snugly. I also mounted single-edged blades in this holder, and single-edged blades are a bit stiffer than double-edged blades to allow you to scrape more stubborn dirt. I'm 220g and 31" tall so my hands don't stay completely dry when I use them to clean glass, but it's so much better than stretching my arm to my elbow! Well made, does what it's supposed to and exactly as described.
