Love the star pattern, soft side, internal drawstrings keep duvet in place. Really warm and cozy in winter, a must have when your home needs a lot of warmth, you can't afford to stay warm or you just want to save. Surprisingly, I don't sweat or overheat while sleeping like a hardened bed does. I'm so glad I didn't get a heavier blanket despite being an adult on the autism spectrum.
