I've used couplers from various vendors and many from the discount tool store. However, the ones on the ends of my main air hoses tend to wear out badly and start leaking after 3-6 months. This has been in service for several months and shows no signs of premature leakage or wear. . It is great. I have to say that this connector works differently than many other common taps. Just push it down and the male end will snap into place. Likewise, the plug connections do not have to be loosened, simply pull on the locking ring to loosen them. I like it but it's different from other connectors I have. 10-year-olds will find this clutch easier to disengage than others that require more strength and additional dexterity.
