I just received this flash drive so haven't used it extensively yet. First, the packaging was easy to open. Unlike regular packaging they had a plastic container secured with a dot of glue so you just had to open it rather than cutting and tearing open the packaging as usual. This is slightly larger than my other 256GB sticks. The exterior is brushed metal, but it seems to wear or scratch easily as the plastic bracket was worn and the flash drive was knocked through the packaging. However, the metal body feels solid. I was able to connect it to my phone (Samsung S9+) and it worked fine. However, when I connected it to my Windows laptop, I got a message saying it needed to be repaired. Don't do this, just ignore the message and select disk usage anyway. The last time I let Windows fix the flash drive, I couldn't use the USB-C end of the flash. I could only use it with an adapter plugged into the USB 3.1 end. I uploaded some photos and it worked. The speed was fine. So far, so good. I will update when I have something new to add.
