Review on πŸ’™ Renewed Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5G Factory Unlocked Android Phone with 128GB Storage in Cloud Blue by Anastazja Odyniec ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am satisfied, the purchase is quite successful.

A separate item that I can not rank as pluses, minuses, or nit-picking. And this, of course, is about the Exynos 990 - an amazing, in every sense, system on a chip. But not only SoC falls under a separate item, but also One UI. To be honest, the Exynos 990 is a good SoC, but it really likes to eat the battery, and because of this, the charge in games, especially in complex ones, or in applications that actively use the processor and GPU, runs out pretty quickly. And that's why the charge lasts 1-2.5 days with a working screen from ~ 4 to ~ 8 hours, depending on what you do on your smartphone. But what is most absurd is that the Game Optimizing Service, which should give maximum performance in games, not only worsens performance in games, but even makes the system itself run slower, and even the battery in games with it leaves a little, but faster. If you turn off the Game Optimizing Service, then the smartphone immediately comes to life, and it becomes much more pleasant to use it. And there is also an interesting paradox - in some games, the graphics are not very good, or even bad, although a smartphone can stretch the graphics even higher, albeit to the detriment of autonomy. To those game developers who give graphics settings, especially when there are a lot of them, I express great respect, because after manual settings you can achieve excellent graphics, observing the performance / beauty of graphics / power consumption / heating ratio. By the way, about heating: Exynos 990 heats up, but so much like certain people, even when charging (even fast) or during normal use - I did not notice this. I did not check how much the SoC itself heats up, but it feels warm in the area of \u200b\u200bthe top of the screen and the upper back, but not hot, and the battery was at a maximum of ~44 degrees Celsius. In general - I am satisfied with the smartphone, despite the good appetite of the Exynos 990 and other smartphone chips, such as 120 Hz

Pros
  • + The screen is gorgeous: the highest resolution, and at a resolution of 2400x1080 the screen also looks great, curved at the edges, 120 Hz refresh rate, round camera cutout instead of a droplet. This is one of his cool things. + Design, appearance and usability: excellent. It looks strict, but tasteful at the same time. Thin, fits well in the hands. + Stereo speakers with good sound. + Headphone sound is very good. + The presence of esim. Very convenient, now I use this technology. + The presence of a slot for a memory card. + Main camera - takes good daytime shots, video among Android smartphones is excellent. Taking pictures in low-light scenarios, the "pro" mode helps, or the night mode. + The touchscreen is the smoothest and most responsive mobile I've ever owned. This is especially important in games. + WiFi and Bluetooth work flawlessly + 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB of UFS 3.* memory is good. + This is my first smartphone with IP68 rating. You can wash it without fear, which I rarely, but do, and it's not scary to get caught in the rain with it. + Fast charging. You can quickly charge your smartphone. And what is convenient, you can turn off very fast and fast charging. + 4G/3G/2G connections work well. + NFC, and in particular, Samsung Pay itself is a cool thing. It even supports the MIR card, which is very important to me.
Cons
  • * Quite easily soiled rear case * The protective film on the screen, which was from the factory, was quickly covered with scratches. * Ultra-wide and telephoto cameras give good results, sometimes medium ones, but again, in no small situations, the β€œpro” mode or night mode helps * Fingerprint scanner does not always recognize
