Remember it's a tool. Like a lathe, you'll have to spend some time practicing, watching YouTube videos, re-reading instructions, and eventually making a dozen or so clamps until you're proficient. everything is exactly as described, and if the granny on the video can do it, then it's not the device, it's you.
