Buying sports shoes is a nightmare for me as I have wide feet and high insteps. My favorite brand has been Saucony for many years, but they don't actually make pumps. I've tried a dozen different brands of boats and even ordered a few pairs of D widths but to no avail. They were rated so highly that I decided to give it a try. They're made from very sturdy leather (I was hoping they'd soften) and appear to be quite wide, although there was no "AAAAAA" moment when I first put them on (that should have been a warning). In desperation I put them on several times to play but ended up feeling discomfort in the balls of my feet, tingling in my fingers and two blisters - one on the ball of my foot and the other on my heel after about an hour. They feel a bit "overwhelmed" and "under-equipped". For the price I expected better shoes.
