It's quiet and fairly easy to fill up. However, it has some issues: I bought this model because it included a humidistat. I wanted to be able to set the desired humidity. What seems to be happening is that the mist shoots straight out of the top and then falls down the sides until it's sucked back into the air intake, which then immediately shuts the device down. Then it turns on again after a minute. I no longer use the hygrostat function. The air intake is all the way down. It's so low that this thing should be placed on a hard surface, not a thick carpet. It now sits on my daughter's dresser, although we'd actually rather hide it in the corner of the floor. The sleep function is easy to set up, but when it turns off, it beeps loudly 3 times. So don't set it too short or it will wake up your kid in the middle of the night thinking the fire alarm went off! I also think it can beep when it's out of water.
