Bought both hot and cold side handles. 1 day after installation, the cold side started leaking through the spout (the handles flowed until the bars were replaced). Soon the drop turned into a steady stream. After calling a plumber who couldn't fix the problem, I went to my local plumbing shop and confirmed my suspicions. The handle that was sold to me in the store was packaged in a box with the Grohe brand printed on it, and the handle itself was stamped 'Grohe' and 'Germany'. This vendor's stem does not have these markings and the rubber washer on the bottom is black and this vendor's stem is blue for cold. The Grohe stem is also about a quarter of an inch longer. After I installed the stem from the supply store, there was no more leakage. I'm confident I ordered the correct part because I looked up the part number listed in the faucet installation guide. Also, the hot side is fine, which came in the same order. I suspect these are not original Grohe parts. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
