I built my own computer about four years ago. I have a Corsair 300R case and have been using the stock fans that come pre-installed from the start. About a year later one started creaking and I replaced it with one of the Pure Wings 2 fans and was immediately impressed with how easy it was to install the new fan as well as how quiet it was at max volume. RPM For the second time and last time my front case fan was also making a loud grinding noise (possibly definitely bearing damage) so I went with a familiar brand and bought another of these fans. It was just as easy this time, although the screws were too big so I had to reuse the screws from the stock fan. And silence again, as always. I would highly recommend using these fans if you're looking for a middle ground between silence and affordability. Three years later I've had no problems with any of these fans, so hopefully the one I just bought and installed will be the same. My only complaint is the prices of these fans at Revain while other outlets offer them cheaper, except for the fact that Revain is the only place that offers expedited shipping.
