Update: Died after two years. First the LEDs flashed and then the charging process was aborted. It was on all the time the car was on the road as it was plugged into the cigarette lighter so I had at least 10,000 hours on it. Not bad for $10. I will order a replacement. This is a pretty cool product if you're looking to add USB ports to your car. I installed it on my 2000 Ford Explorer and used the hole that was already in the dash. I don't have automatic climate control so I was able to use the vent where the cabin temp sensor should have been, I just had to widen the vent a bit. I like that it matches the other gauges and buttons on the dashboard. I recommend using a relay as I did when installing this product. Others have commented that it falls apart easily but I haven't had this problem, it dangles a bit in the connectors but I can live with that as you only deal with it during installation. The paint on it scratches easily if you're not careful, so be careful. It definitely makes the old car look more modern, I recommend it.
