Review on πŸš— Air Lift Ride Control Dodge 59555 by Jake Powell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to install and works well to control load levels.

Easy to install and works well to control load levels. Used in conjunction with a stabilizer bar and hitch to distribute the load when towing a 25ft Airstream trailer. I was towing a 2006 Dodge Dakota 4x4 quad cab trailer and used bags to increase the ground clearance after loading the truck bed. (The hitch height of the truck was adjusted with the bags deflated.) I've made several trips with the truck height set and adjusted, and there was no fishtail, even when towing at 75 mph on the freeway. I added all this because I read online that a Dodge DAKOTA cannot handle a trailer. My only comment: spend the money to install a truck and the trailer works fine. In fact, it towed just as well as any other truck I've used.

Pros
  • This is great.
Cons
  • Some errors.
