My "run out" when doing a 10% water change. I use about 2x the recommended amount, but that's enough. I've also used it when I had to do a 50% emergency water change once with great results. 2000 gallon pond with 20 large goldfish. Choose Web Water Gardens as your supplier for the best service. In the summer the pond is misted instead of using a microbe lift algae killer every week like I did last summer. I noticed that this summer the fish started to eat better and grew significantly. The creeping Ginny from my floating island also grew the best this summer. I think the algae poison took them all away, although I strictly followed the dosage instructions. I've also stopped wasting money on their bacteria supplement - I don't think that helped. I have a filter media system with a leaf bucket and UV light to keep the water adequate with the fish during the heat. I just couldn't see the ground halfway up. The weather is now changing from 95F to 75F, the water is already clearing.
