In my opinion it could have been better adapted to the shape of the car. It's square, leaving a lot of space between the steering wheel and the back of the car. It looks like it's going to be a real stress point with wind and snow/rain. The strap at the bottom is not that easy to access and I will remove it and add a strap that goes around the car. Hopefully this will also help keep the lid closer and intact. Edited to add that the strap underneath is not very good. During the first hurricane, it fell apart, turning the lid into a large kite. The seams are weak. The photo shows what happened in the wind.
