Better use a high rimmed pan

I bought these to put raw meat on for seasoning steaks and then put the rack and pan in the fridge for the salt to do its magic. Unfortunately, I use a Wilton Jelly Roll tray that fits on a wire rack, but the sides of the tray are lower than a typical restaurant-style pan. I knew what was going on and this rack is also slightly taller than your regular leaf rack. I like that it's raised slightly for cooler airflow under the meat, but the grate is a bit slippery, it doesn't fit the pan. I've used it a few times and it cleans up well in the dishwasher. and the build looks good. There can be no question of sharp edges. I'll update my review if I buy a matching baking sheet. I gave it 5 stars knowing that this rack most likely wouldn't fit my pan perfectly and it's up to me. UPDATE 8/4/2020.
