These fit my Dirt Devil upright vacuum and I found it relatively easy to get rid of the dust that was on them after using them. It releases quite a bit of dust and a soft toothbrush will remove loose particles. My vacuum definitely worked a lot better, so I've had the old filters for too long and I won't make that mistake again. They're a little - not enough to be overly fussy about IMO - twisting easily, so you'll need to be a bit more careful with handling them when attaching them to the head of the case or I think I got a good deal.
