I have been looking for cotton muslin or linen blend duvets for my boys bunk beds in this shade of green and buffalo check for a long time. When I saw these blankets I was too excited and willing to pay the price to finally get exactly what I was looking for. However, I was a bit disappointed. Pros: 1) Nice material 2) Nice pattern and accurate colors 3) Lightweight and breathable yet warm and cozy Cons: 1) Product photos show the finished quilt in white. limit or bond; the edges are only folded and sewn with us, so they look a bit rougher or more rustic than on the product images. Other reviewers' photos also show a white border, so it's possible the company recently changed the way they finish the edges of the quilts; It would be nice if the company updated the product images to accurately represent the product when changes are made. 2) I ordered the largest size in anticipation of shrinkage as the comforters are cotton and I never trust the sizes companies quote for comforters. It turned out I was absolutely right about that. The "large" size is perfect as a bedspread for my boys' bunk beds. The length is long and wide enough for the comforters to fully cover the sides of each of the mattresses (one mattress is 8 inches deep and the other 11 inches deep for reference) but without excessive protrusions on the sides. I was lucky that the size ended up fitting us so well, but I don't recommend buying them for a full, queen or king unless you want them to be just an accent or plaid, that's not really covers everything. Bed. Overall I don't think these blankets were worth the price of $55 each considering they are a lot smaller than what I think people would expect without looking at the online sizing and expecting, shrinking etc. and because the brim is not finished as shown. But since I like the material, pattern and colors so much and they go so well with my boys' beds, I'm keeping them to myself.
