We love our pets, don't we? As others have pointed out, I basically bought this as a stepping stone for my 8 lb dog so she can get up and out of bed without hurting herself. She immediately understood what it is for and loves it. The lines are simple and attractive, and the gray color is neutral enough to blend into most interiors. It has a very small profile so it doesn't get in the way even at the end of the bed. I keep dog supplies and treats in the closet, which is convenient and adds weight/stability to the chair. I would never sit on it, it's too low (10 inches) and I wouldn't trust it to support a grown man's weight. Only time will tell if a small dog jumping on it multiple times a day will hold up, but for now I'm happy with the purchase and happy with how it's serving its intended purpose.
