Update: sheets sent back. Residual stains after repeated washing. The leaves shrink more. Small threads come out in some places. They have been washed in cold water using Tide Studio for silk on a low setting and inaugurated. Tumble dry/dryable. My $20 microfiber guest sheets are just as nice. After about two and a half weeks they are very good but leave something to be desired. According to the description, after washing, they became softer and even more comfortable. Unfortunately, they seem to have lost all of their satin, which makes me wonder if they have a satin weave at all, or if they're just slightly slippery to the touch from the detergent from the factory (they smell from the packaging). Other people have said they shrink a bit with washing (follow all wash/dry instructions) which is fine as long as it doesn't hold up. I'm most worried about the stains on the pillowcases. They were only there after a few"nights of sleep, ok whatever I say about the pillowcase stiffness. The photo I took is after washing though. They are also starting to settle in the area of the staining Totally inappropriate $100 sheets for this to happen"so easy (no fabric softener/dry sheets used). At least the stains somewhat retain the original color of the sheets, they were a nice dark charcoal color but just faded a bit in one wash. I decide I can keep them or return them. I have doubts about my purchase; I compared them directly to $100 DTY reeds, which are also 100% bamboo but have 320 threads. I finally settled on this one based on more reviews and a darker color (which was fading anyway). I'll wash them again in a few nights before making a decision, but I'm not sure how much that would help.
