I have a strong, heavy and large Guardian WeatherAll Plus case when my bike is parked at home. But when folded, it becomes about the size of a small sleeping bag. So when you have valuable space for a long journey, you need something else. And this case is great. That's easy. When folded it becomes a small bag, maybe less than ½ liter. It doesn't cover everything, but it does keep the windshield, seat and top of the bags out of the water. It also discourages people from sitting on your bike (that seems to be an epidemic lately). I use it for long and short trips because it just doesn't take up much space. I ride a BMW R1200RT and this size fits perfectly.
