I don't use this for diapers as we always use the changing table. I bought this to organize all the kids toys etc in my common room because they can get pretty messy and there are so many little things I enjoy sitting on the couch with my son. The largest department I have is a book with his first words and some toys. One of the smaller compartments is for snacking on when he falls asleep on mine and I don't want to risk waking him up to get off the couch. The outside pockets are great for things like nail clippers, his nail file (it's so small I always lose it!), his hairbrush and thermometer, and a packet of crackers.
