I don't start the winter season without these spikes. I bought my first pair from a popular shopping channel. I bought a pair not only for myself but also for my husband and 80 year old father-in-law. I bought a very cheap pair of shoes so I only have to stretch them once. Whether you're shoveling, shoveling snow or walking in a parking lot, they prevent any slipping. The disadvantage of these snow spikes is that they are difficult to stretch on shoes. They need to be snug so I recommend wearing them over an old pair of shoes or buying a cheap pair. This is my third pair in 8 years and I train them. I couldn't be happier with a pair of these.
