Some pads are ok, work at a good level. The situation is different with the rotors - they were installed and immediately there were strong pulsations in the brakes, similar to deformed rotors. I needed the car the next day so I went to the brake shop to have the rotors turned over so they could be brought up to speed as soon as possible. They couldn't do it - not only was the rotor out of spec at the braking surfaces, but the surface on the inside of the hub that attaches to the wheel hub was so far off that the rotors wouldn't seat properly. I left the street and returned immediately. The pads seem to be fine here too, too bad the rotors aren't very high quality. I put on different rotors/different brands and they fit perfectly out of the box.
