If you have a child just learning to walk, I highly recommend it! My daughter was just starting to walk and we were having trouble getting her to wear shoes, instead she wanted to go barefoot so she could sit down and take them off, but we needed shoes she could walk in outside so she could didn't hurt her legs. We ordered these because they have a flat, hard bottom that helps keep them stable and upright. She mastered them in no time and ended up not taking them off when she went outside. Also, she couldn't take them off because of the velcro. They are also very easy to put on so I wouldn't have a hard time putting them on or trying to get my daughter to stand still to lace them up!
