The Earthquake 10D woofer is a passive unpowered woofer. The product description does not say so. The installation documentation does not specify that these are the traditional left and right inputs. I connected them to the Bose SA-5 amplifier in parallel with the Bose 251, observing polarity. Red is +. The SA-5 handles the 10D and 251 very well. There is no clipping at any volume or other signs of overload. 10D is a very good complement to the 251s. it naturally fills the bottom end. From a distance it really looks like a stone.
