Installation was easy and almost identical to the original filter that came with the fridge. The only difference was that the end of the filter didn't "fit" perfectly into the plastic cutout. It sticks out a bit, but as far as I can tell it fits perfectly at the end of the pad. The water he took was definitely less than 3 gallons before he was stripped of activated carbon and filter elements. The water tastes great and, according to the label, meets the same standards as the filters you buy direct from Samsung at half the price. Will definitely be buying again and I will update the review if anything changes in my experience.
