11/15/2021I think it is important to evaluate a product based on its use. I'll talk about my intended use and why I decided to give it a 5 star rating. This is a first estimate and I will update it after 6 months. What's in the box: 2 screen protectors 1 mini HDMI -> HDMI cable 1 USB-C to USB-C cable 1 USB-C to USB 3.0 cable 1 adapter 1 carrying case I needed a screen small enough to fit in the tablet -Mount to fit my bed. Here is the list of requirements I was looking for: - 1080p - Light screen - 60Hz - HDMI (with mini-HDMI) - Uses the same power supply as most of my other devices (iPad Pro) - Less than 9 inches wide VisionOwl 15.6 Portable Monitor fits all of these descriptions. I mainly use this monitor to watch Netflix and other streaming services. I use a Google TV Chromecast adapter with this screen to stream shows to it. This works well and I've found the sound varies from app to app, but I fixed it by connecting a Bluetooth speaker to a Google Chromecast. All in all it was well worth seeing and freed my tablet for its original use i.e. schoolwork. The second use was gaming - I have a PS4 and a PS3. I only tested the PS4 and the screen quality and sound were satisfactory. I don't play first person shooters or fighting games, so I can't verify if there is input lag. And the last use was as an extra monitor for my portable devices. Since it's last on my list, I haven't tested this feature. Given how well Google Chromecast works, I can't imagine it's much different. However, I will update the information as soon as I have a chance to sit down at a portable monitor and test it. doesn't exist, two speakers lack some mid-tones in soundtracks, high frequencies stand out more but that's to be expected and I have a feeling this can be remedied by using headphones or a separate audio streaming device. I pair bluetooth speakers and they work fantastic. So far I am happy with the device.
