I've moved into a house that has wires everywhere and outlets everywhere thanks to several different satellite systems over the years. With this device, it was easy and efficient to identify outlets and match them to the wire in the basement where they all end. You can put all 4 plugs into 4 different sockets at the same time. Then connect the device to different cables and if you match any of them, it will light up in the corresponding color of the plug used. That means 4 times less stairs up and down!
