In a nutshell: This is a very nice pillowcase, but the texture is a little different. I only sleep on silk pillowcases so I'm used to the texture of very high quality silk. This pillowcase felt a little stiff and stiff compared to my other silks, but it feels like silk. I think they probably treated the fabric with something that didn't come out in the wash so it will take more washes to get back to normal. Maybe the dyeing process was too dry, which can explain the stiffness. The pillowcase feels like silk but not as nice as my other silk fabrics. This is a good product but not perfect.
