Superb silk pillowcases! I'm black with 4c hair (curly with the tightest curls). I don't like to wear scarves or hats every night, so a soft and smooth pillowcase works best. This is my first time using silk. All my previous ones were satin. The main difference I noticed is the texture. This silk pillowcase is soft and smooth, but not as smooth as satin. Atlas allows for very little friction. The silk may have a little more breakage, but the quality seems better. Satin pillowcases are often very fragile and lightweight, which can cause seams to rip. These pillowcases appear to be firmer and stronger. I also love lightning. I can't count the number of times I've woken up with my satin pillowcase halfway up the pillow, which of course rendered it useless. These pillowcases appear to be very well made. I am very happy with it. I would recommend you try them out.
